Hello, Friends of Trinity!

Although we suspended worship services for the summer of 2011, our leadership team
has been praying about "next steps" and analyzing the input, advice, ideas and options
offered by many of you. We held a day of prayer and fasting on July 9, and although the
Lord did not seem to illuminate a real clear path for us that day, we also did not feel as if
we were being led to shut down.

So we've done some more work to clarify our characteristics, mission and next steps.
Send an email to
information@trinityminneapolis.org if you would like to see a 2-page
document that outlines all of that. In short, we're looking for a place (an office or
storefront) in southwest Minneapolis where we can worship and fellowship on Sunday
mornings and have a midweek Bible/book study. We would like to build to a core of 30
Christians before branching out more broadly than that. We will continue to be
orthodox in belief, classic in worship and egalitarian in service. We will formally
reevaluate in May 2012.

O God, by whom the meek are guided in judgment, and
light rises up in darkness for the godly: Grant us, in all
our doubts and uncertainties, the grace to ask what you
would have us to do, that the Spirit of wisdom may save
us from all false choices, and that in your light we may see
light, and in your straight path may not stumble; through
Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
