Sammy Kieti sensed God's call at the young age of 12. He served as a youth Pastor and Choir leader for five years, and later worked as a missionary to the youth in Uganda, East Africa in the early eighties. Sammy is pursuing a Masters program in Ministry and will be ordained as an Anglican Priest in December 2011. He loves music and is working on a CD with his wife Mwende and younger brother, Mike. Sammy and Mwende are planting an Anglican Church called 'Pamoja' Place (swahili for oneness) and currently meeting at the Church of the Cross in Hopkins every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month, from 1:00 to 2:30pm. They have an 23 month old boy, Leumas. The Retired Kenyan Anglican Archbishop, Dr. Benjamin Nzimbi is Sammy's father-in-law. |
